Switzerland's digital future

The study compiled by the EPFL, mandated by SIX and Swisscom, concludes that Switzerland is lagging behind on digitalisation, starting with digital literacy. Switzerland still number one for talent

The latest INSEAD Global Talent Competitiveness Index report puts Switzerland again at the top of the worldwide list of countries in regard to attractivity and personal development possibilities for foreign talents. As the main reason for this the study identifies the Swiss dual education system.

Social networks, not just for teenagers

According to the results from the Federal Statistical Office's latest survey, participation in social networks is one of the activities which has grown most since the last survey in 2010. Interesting development: almost half of the users aged between 35 and 44 are also active on social networks.

Student computer and information literacy study

This new ICILS study on media competence offers the first international comparison on student computer and information literacy in 20 countries. Results: Swiss girls and boys alike, in grade 8, have an average knowledge of computer and internet literacy compared to other participating countries.
