Continuing education: who can attend?
 |  | The terms of admission depend on the type of continuing education. There are no special admission requirements for the majority of continuing education courses. A continuing education activity can begin after course registration and payment of the fees. Placement tests can be conducted if courses are held at different levels for different groups (e.g. in languages or information technology). |
Special terms of admission apply to continuing education activities offered by tertiary institutions such as universities (e.g. Master of Advanced Studies [MAS], Diploma of Advanced Studies [DAS], Certificate of Advanced Studies [CAS]). Admission to such courses is often reserved for holders of a suitable qualification.
